《羿射九日》

It’s called “Yi Shoots Down Nine Suns”.

它的名字叫《羿射九日》。

Long long ago, there were ten suns in the sky.

很久很久以前，天上有十个太阳。

They were brothers and lived on a big tree.

它们是兄弟，住在一棵大树上。

Every day, one sun went up to the sky.

每天，只有一个太阳升到天上。

The earth was warm and bright.

大地温暖又明亮。

But one day, the ten suns went up together.

但是有一天，十个太阳一起升上了天。

It was very, very hot.

天气变得非常非常热。

The grass and trees dried up.

小草和树木都枯了。

The rivers had no water.

小河里没有水了。

People were very sad and hungry.

人们又难过又饥饿。

At that time, there was a brave man called Yi.

那时候，有一个勇敢的人叫羿。

He was good at shooting arrows.

他很擅长射箭。

Yi wanted to help people.

羿想帮助人们。

He climbed a high mountain.

他爬上了一座高山。

He took his bow and arrows.

他拿起他的弓和箭。

He shot down nine suns one by one.

他一支一支地射下了九个太阳。

The last sun was very afraid.

最后一个太阳非常害怕。

Yi didn’t shoot it.

羿没有射它。

Because we need one sun.

因为我们需要一个太阳。

From then on, the earth was warm again.

从那以后，大地又变得温暖了。

Grass and trees grew well.

小草和树木长得很好。

People lived a happy life.

人们过着幸福的生活。

Yi is a hero in our hearts.

羿是我们心中的英雄。
