《坐井观天》

 Today I want to share a story with you.

今天我想给大家分享一个小故事。

The story is called "The Frog in the Well".

故事的名字叫《坐井观天》。

Long long ago, there was a little frog.

很久很久以前，有一只小青蛙。

He lived in a small well.

他住在一口小小的井里。

Every day, he looked up and saw a small sky.

每天，他抬头只能看到小小的一片天空。

He thought the sky was only as big as the well.

他以为天空只有井口那么大。

One day, a big bird flew to the well.

有一天，一只大鸟飞到了井口边。

The frog asked the bird: "Where are you from?"

小青蛙问大鸟：“你从哪里来？”

The bird said: "I fly from the big sea."

大鸟说：“我从很远的大海飞来。”

The bird told the frog how big the sky was.

大鸟告诉青蛙，天空非常非常大。

The sky was endless, not small at all.

天空无边无际，一点也不小。

The frog could not believe it at first.

一开始，青蛙不敢相信。

He stayed in the well for too long.

他在井里待得太久了。

He knew only a little thing.

他懂得的东西非常少。

At last, the frog wanted to jump out of the well.

最后，青蛙想要跳出井口。

He wanted to see the big world by himself.

他想自己去看看大大的世界。

This story tells us a good lesson.

这个故事告诉我们一个道理。

We cannot stay in a small world.

我们不能只待在小小的世界里。

We need to learn more and see more.

我们要多学习、多见识。

Open our eyes, and we will know more.

打开眼界，我们才会懂得更多。
